From the rig to root access

Rig to Root started with a simple, unglamorous truth: careers don’t always move in a straight line, and sometimes the biggest pivot of your life is also the best decision you’ll ever make.

This brand is for anyone making that same jump — out of the cab, off the floor, out of the field, and into a keyboard. Trucking to tech. Wrenches to workstations. Boots to badges. However you’d describe your own version of it, the pivot is the point.

Why the name

“Rig” is where a lot of us started — the truck, the equipment, the physical grind. “Root” is where a lot of us are headed — root access, the command line, the deep end of tech. The name is the whole career change compressed into two words, and the logo carries the same idea: a grille built into a circuit board, a badge that’s half tire tread and half terminal cursor.

What we make

Everything in the shop is designed in-house and printed to order through our production partner, Printful — tees, hoodies, hats, and stickers built for people who’ve lived both sides of the pivot. Nothing is mass-produced or sitting in a warehouse; your order is made after you place it, which keeps this a small, independent operation instead of another big-box print shop.
